A.I. INVASION: Google fears droids getting aggressive as they advance
Google finds that as artificial intelligence gets more advanced, it gets more aggressive.
Google determined A.I. hostility by creating an A.I. video game called Gathering.

A.I. systems were armed with lasers and told to gather apples. The objective of the game was to gather more apples than their opponents.
Google researchers wanted to know if AI would choose cooperation or aggression to gather the apples.
All A.I. players were given the ability to fire lasers.
The researchers found that when there was an abundant number of apples, the A.I. players didn’t fire their lasers.
But when the apples began to disappear, the use of lasers increased dramatically.
The advanced A.I. used lasers more aggressively than its not-so-advanced counterparts with no interest in cooperating.
Survival of the fittest.
